"We can not do great things, just small things with great love"

"The rules of soccer are very simple, basically it is this: if it moves, kick it. If it doesn't move, kick it until it does."

Phil Woosnam

"Most football players are temperamental. That's 90 percent temper and 10 percent mental"

Doug Plank

"The reason women don't play football is because eleven of them would never wear the same outfit in public."

Phyllis Diller

I confess I am a football (soccer) addict.

I love and enjoy playing football, and it was so since my early childhood. Moreover, in my teenage, I was considered a pretty good player (midfield, national selection), so that I had some offers for the professional career.

I've chosen Medicine instead.

Comparing incomes, it was terrible mistake.

This is me (at the age of 18), obviously very proud on my 5 gold medals. Times gone by ...

I've got some beautiful shirts form my brother Clotario Cueva: Ecuador, Brazil and FC Victoria de Bahia.

Each Sunday (when I am not on-call) I play football with my friends.

Well, not so good as I used to, but it works somehow.

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind
Walk on through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on
With hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone.
