Period: November 2002 -
ongiong
Project title: PATHOLOGICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL
LESIONS IN CONGENITAL AND ACQUIRED DISEASES (AND THEIR
PULMONARY CIRCULATIONS) OF THE MYOCARDIUM AND CORONARY
ARTERIES.
Granted by: Serbian Academy of Science and Arts
- Section of Medical Sciences, The Board for
Cardiovascular Pathology.

Prof. Dr Vladimir I. Kanjuh (Board Chairman).
-
Period: January 2002 -
December 2005
Project title: LONG TERM FOLLOW-UP OF PATIENTS
WITH ARTIFICIAL HEART VALVES AND/OR CABG -
POSSIBILITIES FOR PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF
COMPLICATIONS.
Granted by: Government of the Republic of
Serbia - Ministry of Science Technology and
Development.
Position: Research assistant.
-
Period: January 2004 -
December 2005
Project title: ELECTRON MICROSCOPIC,
IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL AND MORPHOMETRIC ANALYSES OF
CELLULAR ENTITIES AND EXTRA CELLULAR MATRIX OF BLOOD
VESSELS IN PATHOLOGICAL CONDITIONS.
Granted by: Government of the Republic of
Serbia - Ministry of Science Technology and
Development.
Position: Research assistant
-
Period: January 2006 -
ongoing
Project title: CYTO-HISTOLOGICAL,
IMMUNOHISTOCHEMICAL AND CLINICAL INVESTIGATIONS OF
VASCULAR REMODELING IN BLOOD VESSEL DISEASES AND
ANGIOGENESIS.
Granted by: Government of the Republic of
Serbia - Ministry of Science Technology and
Development.
Position: Research assistant.
HVMB projects:
Research protocols for these projects were developed by
Francisco Torrent-Guasp and Mladen J. Kocica during the
collaborative work on HVMB from 2001 to 2005.
-
Electrical Circulation -
Examination of cardiovascular electrical events,
explaining the sequence of electrical activation in
the heart and its possible electrical coupling with
blood vessels. Experimental research protocols are
aimed to test the existence and substrate for
vestigial peristalsis within circulatory system.
Multiple clinical applications are proposed.
Current status: pending *.
-
Ventricular "Brace"
Prosthesis - Project objective is to design
external ventricular support device ("Brace"
prosthesis), according to anatomical and functional
principles derived from HVMB concept. This device is
aimed to prevent, abolish and reverse ventricular
remodeling and functional AV valve insufficiency.
Current status: pending *.
-
Mitral Valve - Papillary
Muscles Dynamic Complex - Project describes the
functional anatomy of the mitral valve - papillary
muscle complex, in a light of the HVMB concept.
Research protocol is aimed to analyze the function of
the LV papillary muscles, underlying importance of
preserving mitral-papillary connection during the
mitral valve replacement. Protocol analyzes the
possibility to correct the mitral and tricuspid
regurgitation using the ventricular "Brace"
prosthesis.
Current status: pending *.

I am looking for institutions,
research groups and individuals, interested in
participation, funding and realization of these
projects.
